New Delhi: On the completion of 25 years of glorious existence All India Achievers Conference acknowledged various Business Tycoons & Women Achievers in the form of Business Excellence Awards and Women Achievers Awards (to commemorate the spirit of Women Empowerment) on 21st August, Thursday at Hotel Le Meridien, Delhi. Achievers from various fields including Real estate, Cinema, Television & Media were recently felicitated with the AIAC Awards for Excellence & Woman Achiever Awards (in various categories) at a glittering gala organized by Delhi based senior league journalist turned entrepreneur Abhishek Bachchan.

Ms. Barkha Singh, MLA & Chairperson Delhi Women Commission was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. In her address Barkha Singh said, “Earlier when I meet working women, they were more of dependent in nature. Now-a-days, I can see more CEOs and entrepreneurs. This change is not happening in the lower level of the society and we need to make that.”

The agenda of the conference on “Individual Achievements & Nation Building”  was to honour men & women from varied fields such as Real Estate, Industry, Education, Entrepreneurship, Healthcare, Social Work, Philanthropy, Creative Arts, Service, Astrology, Media and Performing Arts et el with the AIAC Awards for Excellence in their chosen vocation. The event saw many known faces from television industry as well. Famous Comedian Rakesh Bedi, Avtar Gill, Veteran Raza Murad were present at the event. Consul General of Montenegro Her Excellency Dr. Janice Darbari who jointly felicitated the Achievers for their outstanding achievements.

The ceremony honoured Business Stars and women from all walks of life from India. Women who have risen literally through trial by fire, worked by the sweat of their brow and overcome poverty and challenges to arise out of the dust of the earth to emerge as achievers were facilitated at the event. 

Vikas Raj Sharma, JMD, Cosmic Group was honoured with an excellence award in real estate sector. After receiving the award, Mr. Sharma said, “It is a very good feeling to be honoured at such an esteemed event. This is a very good way to encourage the achievements of people from diverse fields. Such awards and recognitions motivate to perform better and I thank AIAC for honouring me with such an achievement”.
